Scholars, activists and artists discussed in Stocholm the possibilities for a political ecology beyond disciplinary boundaries
ENTITLE organized its International Conference from 20th to 24th March 2016 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Co-organized by the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory, this was the first large international conference held in Europe in the emerging field of Political Ecology, with the participation of over 400 scholars, activists and artists.

From 4 to 6 March 2016, Entitle offers a workshop in Naples on environmental conflicts
The Agorà of Naples aims at gathering representatives of social movements, local committees neighborhood associations from all over Italy, with individual activists, scientists and researchers engaged in the critical analysis of environmental conflicts and in struggles for real democracy.

Tomas Perreault, professor at Syracuse University, has just published the essay “Repensando las raíces y trayectorias de la ecología política” (in Spanish) at the journal Estudios Atacameños
Diego Andreucci, Entitle researcher of the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB), has been awarded the Best Student Paper Prize 2015 for the journal Geoforum
The Manual for NGOs
ENTITLE releases its new volume "Political Ecology for civil society", a manual developed by Entitle doctorate and post doctorate fellows for the use of civil society organisations and active citizens.
Maria Beltrán, Entitle researcher and lecturer at Pablo de Olavide University, co-authors the just published article at the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research.
Felipe Milanez presented last 17th of December 2015 the doctoral dissertation “A ousadia de conviver com a floresta - uma ecologia política do extrativismo na Amazônia” (in Portuguese). Felipe, located at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (Portugal), is the first Entitle fellow who has defended his Phd Thesis.
