About Humboldt University of Berlin :
Humboldt University of Berlin is one of the first-class universities in Germany. The Division of Resource Economics focuses on agricultural policy research and political economy studies and concentrates on the combination of institutional economics, agri-environmental policies, and transformation issues.
Their role in Entitle:
Humboldt is responsible in Entitle with bringing in institutional theories in the analysis of environmental conflicts and the defense of the commons. Its faculty has long expertise on agricultural institutions and water governance, issues on which Entitle fellows will be trained on the last Summer School focused on institutions. Humboldt’s Marie Curie fellow develops research on land grabbing in Ethiopia.
